Adventure is worthwhile

Kakum National Park
“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us” is a quote I really enjoy when it comes to travel. Life has got its own ups and downs but it must be lived well. Tourism is the act of traveling to different places (sceneries) of interest to have fun and relaxation. “The first condition of understanding a foreign country is to smell it” says Rudyard Kipling. Ghana can boast of many tourist sites in its various regions. These tourist sites include Paga Crocodile Pond, Wli Falls, Kakum National Park, Akosombo Dam, Larabanga mosque and many more.

These tourist sites can be a place of relaxation where foreigners and Ghanaians take time off their busy work schedules to relax and cool down. Some benefits of tourist sites are explained below:

Tourist sites generates income to the government by means of the dues and tax we pay by visiting the places. This intend helps in the development of the country. Also, the parks serves as a game reserve . Animals of different nature are kept there for research purposes and other scientific experiments.

The sea and other water bodies in Ghana serves as transportation to near and far places, provides fishes for consumption and salt for domestic purposes. “ It’s always sad to leave a place to which one knows one will not return” explains how fun and engaging it is to leave a place of comfort and relaxation . Ghana’s tourist sites is a place of adventure and exploring where one does to need to be rich to travel well. To experience a better fill of Ghana, I encourage Ghanaians to travel and be adventurous especially when in doubt. Since the whole world is our native land and not just one corner, one must have it all to himself and enjoy while it last.
